There are a number of access control system manufacturers/brand names available. In terms of features, options, reliability & longevity, they are very similar to each other. Here is just a brief list of fairly common options and features:

Audit trail. You have a record of who's fob was used on any door along with the   time and date.

Custom restricted access. For any particular fob/person, you can limit their access to only specific doors and only during specific times and days.

Deletion from system. If a person loses their fob, it can be deleted from the system and access will be denied if someone tries to use it.

Integration options. Specific access control systems can be integrated with specific security camera systems, intercom systems, elevator control, and alarm systems.

The ability to work with different proximity readers, biometric-fingerprint readers, RF clickers & receivers for overhead gates.

Web management option. Manage the access control system conveniently and
